Como añadir el SOL al menú solar system en mando Meade 497?

Buenas amigos,
Siempre he usado Celestron y ahora estoy probando una montura Meade. Quiero añadir el sol, como hice con la CG5/GT al menú de sistema solar. De serie no aparece por seguridad del usuario. En Celestron no me costó nada hacerlo, en este mando 497 de Meade, navego por todos los menús y no lo encuentro.
¿Alguien que ya haya pasado por esto?

Gracias por tu ayuda e interés Sebtor. Parece que no tiene el sol como objeto facilmente programable.

He preguntado a Meade y desde Alemania contestan esto:

"adjust the polar angle to your local degree (get it from a map or using google maps; for Madrid it is 40.448515,-3.687401)

- point the polar finder scope axis north using a compass or:

- wait until local midday when the sun is highest it is directly in the south. This occurs at 13:16 o’clock in Madrid. Any shadow cast will point north.

- Start the AutoStar, hit Mode several times to quit alignment and get into the menu, then press and hold enter for 2 seconds

- press Enter again to synchronize; tracking in RA axis will start

- Point the telescope to the sun. It is easy to find when one looks at the shadow from the OTA. If this is smallest the sun should be in the field of view.

NEVER forget to use a proper solar filter on the optics AND the finder scope! Keep the handbox and batteries out of direct sunlight.

(with the method above the sun will track with sidereal speed. It is not extremely precise for the sun but works. If the customer wants to have it exact, he needs to enter the sun into the AutoStar database as an asteroid which is much more complicated)


(Conclusión para verlo a medio o bajo aumento con velocidad sideral se irá lentamente y se puede corregir, para astrofoto solar a gran aumento, pues mejor no comprar esta montura... ,muy maja para la noche, muy mal pensada para el sol)
